Estonian PM: It’s all depending on price

Sell! But make conditions! If you do not sell, bankrupty will follow. SAS does not like that too much.
That is the strong point for negotiating.
The name Estonian air has to stay.
Secure the flights you want,
Make penalties for violating the points in the agreement,
You also can make a deal, that you buy the shares back on a fixed negotiated price after a certain time.
Same thing Pakterminal did! answer

I think there should be conditions, but I don't think it matters much about the name. The key factor should be that there should still be a network of flights operating frequently to and from Tallinn to major points, in order to facilitate business and tourist travel.

But the name in my opinion is not so important... it's just a status symbol for Estonians... answer

Maarten, about 3 years ago, I took the SAS flight CPH to Seattle. I was talking with one of the flight attandants and she said 'SAS is in trouble and I think we will soon go out of business''. answer

SAS is a case of bad management for quite a few years now.earlier it used to be one of best airlines of the world in ABBA times.
And the way things are I can easily Predict Estonia will sell its shares to SAS and SAS will be bought by some Jew of USA or Some Arab and then real joke will start. answer

Currently SAS is 50% government owned, by the Swedish government (21.4%), Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry (14.3%) and the Danish Ministry of Finance (14.3%)

Estonia could do a stock swap with SAS, exchange their share holding in Estonian Air with a share holding in SAS, rather than sell it out-right. answer

A rough back of the envelope calculation comparing the size of the companies in terms of the number of aircraft indicates Estonia should be given a 3% stake in SAS in exchange for the governments share of Estonian Air.

So Sweden, Denmark and Norway would have to dilute their stake in the following way:
Sweden: 21.4% - 20.0%
Denmark: 14.3% - 13.5%
Norway: 14.3% - 13.5%
Estonia: 0.0% - 3.0% answer

SO Ansip must be the dumbest dickhead in Europe just now.

Can you imagine what that will do for business?
Having your company discussed by the PM of a country....like what do passengers feel??
They don't know whether they should buy a ticket tomorrow or not??
Whether the company will fly you next week or not??
Whether you get your money back if they can't???

That way they deliberately bankrupt the company via the press, and SAS will jettison it like a plane drops our all its fuel before a hard landing or crash!!

These guys should be thrown out on their ears...what sort of competent management is that, and of an AIRLINE on top of it!!!

Ansip you are a complete and total asshole!! answer
